ABOUT OFFICE OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND EXCHANGE

International Cooperation and Exchange Office is a functional organization in Hainan Normal University, responsible for coordinating affairs of international communication and cooperation in the whole university. Its specific functions include: responsible for promoting and implementing the guidelines, policies and regulations on diplomacy; responsible for compiling the development plan of work about international cooperation in the university; coordinating foreign affairs of the university; responsible for processing all daily foreign official business and managing various foreign communication activities; employing and managing foreign experts and teachers; contacting foreign colleges to establish the relationship of interscholastic cooperation, organizing the work on interscholastic communication agreement and signing rite and in charge of the performance of the agreement; responsible for reviewing and submitting for approval on the long-term and temporary on-duty exit to foreign countries and the processing related certificates of on-duty exit; planning the foreign communication and exchange project of students in the university; responsible for reviewing, reporting and submitting for approval on hosting or holding international academic conferences; and responsible for work about the construction and management of the Confucius Institute (Confucius Institute of SEGi University, Malaysia) of the university.
